So the builders of the Plaza have filed a $1.1 million lien on the property for work and materials that have gone unpaid by the develpers.
The Bend Economy Bulletin Board was first to cover the story but it took me a while to dig up the dirt. And I’m actually kind of surprised that a news event as large as this goes unreported in the local press. It certainly didn’t lack for positive press when it was first announced. No wonder, really, why the newspaper business is suffering.
