The Greenback

Over long periods of time, like most asset classes the dollar is driven by valuation. When it becomes overvalued relative to its primary trading patterns, the dollar’s returns over the coming decade are relatively poor and vice versa. This is especially important in determining the longer-term trends of asset classes affected by trends in the dollar.
